UIBM understands that unexpected life circumstances may necessitate adjustments to an enrolled student’s educational trajectory. Such adjustments are governed as follows:

Formal Written Request: Students who wish to withdraw from an enrolled program must submit a formal written request via email to Info@uibm.lk, setting out the detailed grounds for withdrawal and student registration details.
  • ✓
Discretionary Transfers & Deferments: Course transfers to an alternative field of study or cohort deferments to a subsequent academic intake may be considered entirely at the discretion of the Academic Board of UIBM, subject to administrative approval, course availability, and applicable administrative transfer fees.
  • ✓
No Automatic Entitlement: The submission of a withdrawal request or the acceptance of student withdrawal does not automatically entitle the applicant to any partial or full fee refund.
Section 06 Intellectual Property

💾 Digital Products and Online Content

In accordance with Sri Lankan law (including the Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006 and the Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003) as well as international digital consumer best practices:
